Joni Lynelle

I am a 45-year-old woman, married without children.  I spent over 13 years, between 1996 and 2010, driving an 18-wheeler as an over-the-road truck driver.  I have two dogs (Sammy and Lucy) and two cats (Walnut and Ruby), each of who have total confidence in the fact that they are the ruler of this kingdom.

My experiences include:  Living in the Eskimo villages of Alaska, seeing every state in the United States with the exception of Hawaii, Skydiving with 50 jumps logged and other interesting, exciting and scary things.

Recently I have been exploring through therapy and journaling how being raised in an abusive household has effected my mental health, and have shaped me into the person that I am today.  I plan to write on this topic as I gain knowledge and insight.

Being someone who loves humor, animals, and the creation of art through words, I will also be writing about these topics, and maybe even some fiction or short stories as well.
